Wow, go here if you're hungry. It's as old as Campbell River afaik, and the burgers are about as big as the mayor's butt. Just awesome food, huge portions, reasonable prices. Great conversation if you like talking about setting chokers or bow hunting endangered species Otherwise shut your mouth, put your head down, and enjoy the food.

good coffee house and fantastic breakfast

I love this place. I've eaten here several times, whether by myself or with family, eat in or take out, the food is great and the service is too. The first time we stopped by we thought it was a hole in the wall 'joint', which it kinda is, but that just means that the food is great and so are the portions. I haven't been up island for a few years now but if i get the chance again I'll be sure to make it to the Ideal for lunch as I continue on to Port Hardy.

great place just your map has it in the wrong place over the bridge just before the one-way's join

Your location is off. This is located across the bridge north of town past The Brick. This is a perfect place to eat a good meal. I rate this place excellent
