Moxie's Classic Grill

Two weeks ago I went to the Moxy's here in Campbell River, they cooked my steak to med well after I asked for rare, I found dirt in my broccoli and my buddy's boss paid for everyone but at the time I didn't know that. The waitress did know and took my money anyway, when I called the manger the next day he seamed disturbed until he found out I wasn't a local. I havnt heard anything back. I'll never return to that Moxy's and that's a shame because when I lived on the Mainland I loved going to Moxys, they make great steaks and the service is usually phenomenal.

I went to Moxies today for my Birthday and had a great lunch, the potions were perfect for lunch time. The server we had was cheerful and welcoming. I give moxies a A+!! I was a server for many years and I know first hand its a challenging job. As for the last review saying the men that work there have failed at life.... your very very wrong

The food is ok once you get past how dirty everything is. I mean it all looks clean until you sit down and get a closer look. The service is dependably hot, yet useless at the same time. These are not career waitresses. There are of course the odd men working there because they couldn't get a real job, failed at life, then tried to serve us food. You can simply ask for a different server, problem solved.

The other reviewer is right, the portions got really small when this bad economy hit, that's also exactly when they switch to 18

Went to Moxies on Friday, August 24, 2007...I met a young friend who paid for lunch and I have to say it was an excellent lunch. The ambience was great, waitresses very good and music not to loud, for being in a Lounge. The only thing that bothered me was the seating in the boothes was dirty and alot of dust on the woodwork around the boothes....otherwise nice!
